Updated with the 08/09 season, you can now download this great resource!
If you're not familiar with it, well it's a spreadsheet created by Leo Scott that shows all County's league & cup results (1900 - 2009) and includes the following details for each game:Day
Date
Competition
Venue (h/a)
Opponents
Result (W,D,L)
Goals for
Goals against
County scorers (1960/61 onwards)
County Starting XI (1989/90 onwards)
Subs used (1989/90 onwards)
Players substituted/timings (2004/05 onwards)
Goal sequence (1996/97 onwards)
Manager
Stadium name
Attendance (1989/90 onwards)
Sending-offs (1996/97 onwards)
And that's just the first page. There are plenty of stats pages, too.
One of the main differences between this spreadsheet and previous ones is that this one now has an even more comprehensive manager history. He had previously used the start/end dates that were given in the History Update book but has since been in touch with County's historian Ian Watts and he has sent a much more detailed list of County's managers complete with new start/end dates. This now represents the most comprehensive account of County's manager history during the last 109 years. Ian's research into this subject has clearly been very thorough and is still ongoing and I thank him again for his help.
This time last year Leo was happily watching the History DVD and became interested in the achievements of Jack Connor. Unfortunately he doesn't have the 1950s goal scorers but has been able to include all the appearances and goals of Jack Connor in this spreadsheet now. This information again came courtesy of Ian Watts. The "results" page now indicates the games that Jack Connor played in and the goals he scored in each of those games. This may be of interest to you or it may not. But it's of interest to the writer and that's why it's there.
Well, as Leo said last year, this is something that no self-respecting County fan should be without so if you would like to download it you can do so at the link below. Hopefully in a couple of weeks time we can all start looking forward to another 109 years of league football. But there's no guarantee that Leo will still be updating these spreadsheets in a 109 years time, but you never know…
