Ablett will check on the fitness of striker Jemal Johnson after he missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury.
County have been in administration since April 2009 and the Melrose consortium hoping to buy the club hit another stumbling block last week.
The Football League refused to give the consortium the green light to press ahead with their takeover due to "a number of unresolved matters."
Ablett said: "We need investment whether it's local or from anywhere in the world."
