Oldham Athletic's Chris O'Grady has joined Stockport on loan

Jim Gannon has secured the loan signing of Oldham striker Chris O'Grady until the summer.

The tall, strong frontman started his career at Leicester City before being snapped up by Rotherham United. After a successful stint at Millmoor, he was signed by Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee last summer. He has spent time on loan at Bury and Bradford City this season.

O'Grady is likely to have to wait until the weekend for his Stockport debut owing to the awful weather conditions hitting the country. Tuesday night's home game against MK Dons is in serious doubt as a result.

Stockport are unlikely to be doing much more deadline day business with Jim McNulty already having moved to Brighton for £150,000.
