Hatters to make late checks.

Stockport boss Paul Simpson is still without Jordan Rose and Robbie Williams as he prepares for the visit of Shrewsbury. The summer signings are nursing injuries and at least two other players are nursing knocks ahead of Simpson`s reunion with his former club. Those players will be assessed but Rose and Williams look certain to miss out. Simpson`s men are without a win this season but the County manager insists he has no axe to grind with the club that sacked him in April. Simpson was shown the door by Shrewsbury towards the end of last season after their League Two play-off hopes were all but ended. Simpson said: "Saturday is a game we want to win because we're at home, and it's another chance to get three points against a good side."
