The administrators said in a statement: "We understand that certain items of required information are still outstanding. We remain hopeful the Melrose Consortium can still progress their interest and we will continue to provide information and support to them.

"However, we will also continue to actively seek interest from other parties and would emphasis that any such parties should notify us of their interest as quickly as possible in order to ensure the club's future."

County, rock bottom of League One after 16 matches without a league victory, have been in administration since April 30 2009.
