Stockport goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is a man in demand
A list of Premiership and Championship clubs have signalled their interest in acquiring Stockport's number one goalkeeper, and Welsh U-21 international, Owain Fon Williams.
Since joining from Crewe Alexandra in the summer, Fon Williams has produced countless performances of the highest quality and it is of little surprise that his growing reputation has attracted scouts from top English clubs.
The list of interested clubs includes the likes of Manchester City, Blackburn, Sunderland and Tottenham. Championship clubs Sheffield United, Ipswich, Preston and QPR are also keen to buy.
The fee, however, is difficult to predict due to the poor state of County's finances but a bidding war would certainly increase the shot-stoppers price.
