Brighton & Hove Albion have made an offer for Jimmy McNulty
The Seagulls have reportedly had a £150,000 bid for Jimmy McNulty accepted as Stockport look to cash in on the 23 year old defender before his contract ends in the summer.McNulty started his career as a trainee at Liverpool before moving to rivals Everton but only made a name for himself at Caenarfon Town. He secured a move to Macclesfield before deciding to join Stockport on an 18-month deal rather than renew his Moss Rose contract. He has represented Scotland at U17, U19 and U21 levels.
It is rumoured, however, that there are a few Championship clubs interested in the young centre-back who can also play at left-back. Whether McNulty will accept Brighton's offer in the light of interest from higher clubs remains to be seen.
