In the first of our series of interviews in the run-up to the Cup match, we speak to Hereford supporter, Jamie Gibbons

SCFC Mad: A bright start to the season sees Hereford in the top half of the
Conference, what are your hopes for the season?

JG: Promotion of course, we have been there or there abouts so many times.
Promotion is what every United fan wants..."Hereford are to big for the
nationwide conference"

SCFC Mad: Who are Hereford's key players that Stockport should watch out for on Saturday?

JG: There are many key players in the Hereford United side; to single a few out would be extremely hard...
We're famous for hats, they're famous for bulls!

SCFC Mad: Stockport play Hereford on December 3rd, the teams are only a few places apart despite league and non-league status, what's your prediction for the game?

JG: Well as you have said, not many places separate the sides. I think after our recent victory over Port Vale, we feel we can do well against any club.
Hopefully we can tie up the game in the 90 minutes allocated, I personally
do not want to go to extra time and penalties like the last time our teams
met...even though we came out the victors in that match

SCFC Mad: How far did you get in the FA Cup last season, and how far do you hope to get this season?

JG: Last season we reached the 3rd round, however this season maybe we
could go one step further.

SCFC Mad: If Hereford were to progress to the 3rd Round, what would be your ideal draw?

JG: What do you mean if? When Hereford get into the third round a big draw would be nice at home, maybe somebody like Brighton Hove Albion after what they did to us.

SCFC Mad: Good luck next Saturday! Hope you don't win!
